Baby Rocks the Play Gym

This is my new favorite thing. I liked Sam's play gym so much, Mom and Dad got me my very own.

At first I got a little frustrated trying to get the little star at the top to play me the music, but now I've mastered it.

Psst -- Polly and Sam -- party's at my place next time! (If you can handle the dog hair...)

Grandma Babysits

Mom and Dad had a wedding to go to this weekend, so Grandma came up to babysit me.

I was an ANGEL, naturally. And Mom and Dad managed to have a good time without me.

Thanks, Grandma! We love you.

Yes We Did

Try as they might, my parents have been unable to capture me in any pose that could be even remotely interpreted as victorious (I love messing with my silly parents' premediated blog posts).


But victorious we feel. And hopeful. And proud. Let's hear it for a brighter tomorrow for America.

Election Day Play Date

Sam, Polly, and I got together on election day to quell our anxiety. Check out the resulting cuteness.

Sam managed to elude Polly, much to her consternation.

Turns out, I'm smaller and younger than Sam and Polly, and playing is not yet such a contact sport for me. Sam sure wishes it was!

Older, Wiser, Heavier. . .

So after being alive for two months and two days I went back to the doctor's office yesterday for what seems like the 20th time, just to hear that I'm absolutely healthy and watch my parents jump up and down like a couple of dimwits, again. (as and aside, based upon their behavior in public, I'm very worried about inherited intelligence but I suppose I have no choice but to ride this thing out). This trip they were wise enough to decline any treatment on my belly button, lest it be coded as surgery in my chart and we get charged a billion dollars by insurance. I reminded them to put the difference in my 529.

The stats: at 2 months I am 23 3/4 inches tall, and weigh 12 lbs. 10 ounces. Please keep this under wraps, when my birth weight was leaked to Star Magazine it was very embarrassing.

I celebrated this all by sleeping from 8 pm to 6:45 the next morning, unleashing the most absurd of parental celebrations yet. Quite a spectacle. I can assure you, we wont be repeating anything like that for a long time.
